A new process breaks down biodegradable plastics with heat and water within few weeks only

Scientists have invented A new process to completely breaks down biodegradable plastics easily with heat and water this process completed within few weeks only.

In year 2019 world produces 348 million of tones of plastic. And it produces per year worldwide, half of which becomes waste. These half of plastic waste causes environment problems. such as it affecting on marine environment, human health, quality and food safety and climate changes.

So to reduce and stop plastic pollution. The scientists from University of California they say they have develop a new process of breaks down of biodegradable plastics with just heat and water. In these process biodegradable plastics break down in just few weeks only. 

Actually scientists have managed polyster eating enzymes in special polymer wrapping in polyester plastic during the process of creating them when it exposed to heat and water. it releases enzymes into it and it breaks down the plastic in different pieces or you also say in different parts. 

Here is example of biodegradable plastic  bottle. In above pictured the polyester eating enzymes breaks down the biodegradable plastic bottle.


A another example of biodegradable plastic. The polyester eating enzymes breaks down the biodegradable plastic with heat and water. These process helps to reduce biodegradable waste and to reduce pollution.
